How Would You Like Your Magic Beans?

Moonlight Medium hails from the Dominican Republic's Barahona region, offering a balanced and nuanced cup. This medium roast reveals subtle hints of toasted almonds and brown sugar upon the first sip. As the flavour develops, you'll notice a pleasant fruitiness, reminiscent of red apples and cherries. The coffee has a medium body and a smooth, buttery mouthfeel, finishing with a touch of cocoa powder and a whisper of spice, evoking the tranquillity of a moonlit night.

Roasted fresh daily, our medium full single-origin coffee is so well balanced you'll be convinced no other coffee came before it. Growing high in the mountains of the Dominican Republic in the Barahona region, the trees are subjected to a near-constant humidity that helps to sink the flavours through the coffee cherry and into the beans. Being shade-grown the trees suffer less from direct sunlight, which produces an earthy taste of sweet nuts and caramel.  Like so many medium full coffees this is best enjoyed through a filter cup though it will also produce a well-rounded espresso.

At the moment of roasting, we meticulously measure each batch of our coffee to precisely 250 grams. However, it is important to note that during the roasting process, there is typically a reduction in weight of approximately 18%, resulting in the final product weighing between 230 grams and 240 grams. Rest assured, every bag we provide is labeled with its precise weight.
